DIY "Brown Eyes" Recipe

This recipe is meant to be used with the Dog Mom Club "DIY Brown Eyes" Mix. Easy to put together, this fun option is perfect for Birthday Pawty treats or just to spoil your delighful doggo.

 

Ingredients

1 Package DIY Brown Eyes

1 3.9 oz No Sugar Added Applesauce Package

2 Tbsp. Raw Honey

 

Optional but HIGHLY Recommended:

1-2 Tbsp. No Sugar Added, No Xylitol Peanut Butter

1 package Unsweetened Coconut Flakes (included in DIY Brown Eyes)

1-2 Tbsp. Unsweetened Carob Chips (included in DIY Brown Eyes)

 

Optional PB Glaze:

1/2 C No Sugar Added, No Xylitol Peanut Butter

1 Tbsp Coconut Oil

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the entire package of DIY Brown Eyes, applesauce, honey and optional peanut butter. Mix together until incorporated, adding water 1 tbsp at a time if needed. The dough will be slightly sticky like a bread dough.
  3. If desired, add included carob chips and coconut flakes into dough. Otherwise, add after cooking Brown-Eyes.
  4. Lightly grease an 8 x 8 pan with non-stick cooking oil or line the pan with parchment paper. Add the mix and spread to all edges.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the Brown-Eyes start to pull away from the edges of the pan.
    1. If adding the PB Glaze, wait to cut Brown-Eyes until after the glaze has set.
  6. Optional (if making the PB Glaze)- add coconut oil and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until the mixture is runny and easy to pour. Pour over Brown-Eyes and use a spatula to cover entire pan. Refrigerate for at least an hour to set; overnight is best.
  7. Cut and serve. 

 

 

 

DIY Anzac Recipe

This recipe is meant to be used with the Dog Mom Club "DIY Anzac" Mix. This delicious, wholesome mix is easy to assemble in a snap.

 

Ingredients

1 Package DIY Anzac

1 3.9 oz No Sugar Added Applesauce Package

1.5 tablespoons Raw Honey

 

Optional but HIGHLY Recommended:

1 package Raw Sunflower Seeds (included in DIY Anzac Mix)

1-2 Tbsp. Unsweetened Carob Chips (included in DIY Anzac Mix)

2 tablespoons water

 

Optional PB Glaze:

1/2 C No Sugar Added, No Xylitol Peanut Butter

1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
